Provide Responsible Service Of Alcohol - THHBFB09B
Course Objective
This unit deals with the skills and knowledge required to satisfy the requirements for responsible service of alcohol under State/Territory legislation. All persons undertaking training as part of a National Certificate in the service of alcohol must complete this unit. All elements are undertaken in accordance with legal provisions of the relevant liquor legislation. Evidence of competence must include demonstrated knowledge of legislation as detailed throughout the unit and in the Evidence Guide. It must also include knowledge of the underpinning reasons for and benefits of responsible service of alcohol reforms. Those developing training to support this unit must undertake consultation with the relevant State/Territory licensing authority

Selection Criteria
There are no prerequisites for Entry into the course. However the ability to understand and interpret the content of the course material is essential. An interview may be required.

Assessment
All assessment will be based on the principles of competency-based training and assessment. A range of methods, including observation of simulated and practical activities, structured questioning, and discussion and written work, will determine competency.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
CRC Training and Development recognises AQTF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other registered training organisations.

Credit or exemptions for previous relevant studies and industry experience may be available through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. Further details are available from Administration.

The principles of Access and Equity will be applied in the selection of students

This course can be delivered in a variety of different modes either full time at your workplace or part-time at another location
